This resource provides a brief history of Earth Day and encourages children to engage in discussion, ask questions, and share ideas. The included activities offer children the opportunity to make a small or large pledge or promise to help protect and care for the planet.

This resource begins with a simple talk activity to encourage children to speak with each other and the teacher about some of their favourite things. It also includes a worksheet that helps the teacher get to know each pupil better.
